Got any links to the top hat failure of King and fox, all I still see are images of dead icons? I do agree if you send things to some extent anything can break. I don't understand how icon still runs their design when it has died on many folks. Do your coils have straps since you sound like you are MT?

I got my coilovers from wheelers...but if you want a 2.5 coilover with Resi and brackets...1499 for Icon. Kings from wheelers...1425. I don't really get where folks always claim that king is more expensive if you get the equivalent of what they sell.

Also SDHQ promotes Icon pretty hard so no surprise there. There is a reason why King and fox dominate the racing circuit.

Another thing that some seem to ignore is the amount of pre-load they dial in. Coil bind can be disastrous.

Your truck is entirely too clean.

Buys a pro, but replaces the suspension..
Buys Billet Heimed controls arms ($$$$) but not remote reservoirs..
Those rear shocks are a downgrade..

    Same thing I'm thinking.

But I guess people are free to do with their money as they want.
Just saying anyone that wants to waste the money for a pro and still mod it, you're welcome to give me some of that extra expendable money you have :D

    shifter is whatever.
    badge is ugly

    Leather is cool.
wasn't a fan of the colour in person.

Still not worth the 13k we pay up here for it lol.

Is Icon Suspension the same group that make Icon Motorcycle gear?

I think the whole system is.
    Doesn't even have bypass now.

If it was changed to the higher end remote resi icons maybe.
But for those not worth it. The factory fox would've been better.

    But oh well.

I'm gonna be that guy I guess...to each their own but you literally downgraded significantly in the rear...went from a 2.5 with remote reservoir to a 2.0 less reservoir...could have just replaced the front coilovers with aftermarket height adjustable Fox coilovers and left the rears.

Damn really besides suspension it sounds like how it was for my Baja. I had "TRD" badged billys and a cool TRD emblem on the tailgate and fancy decal. Besides that its just a standard taco.

I've never seen a thread about broken Kings or any real issues with them. I have however seena ton on Icon as well as customer service complaints..

I also agree that people over hype the cost of Kings, they are surprisingly competitive.
