I doubt it's a scam. A scam would say the suspension has 600 miles on it, not 60k.

Likely, the seller under priced them and is getting blown up with offers, or already sold them.

I don't see the "scam angle", but with all FB and CL ads, its safer to assume it is a scam and proceed accordingly.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but when I am scamming people, the first thing I do is stop responding once they sound interested in what I am pretending to sell and try to throw money at me.

Edit: Post 35, yeah definitely a scam..or at least not worth the risk, even at that price.

 

Update, he wants me to pay upfront $200 to reserve it and only available for pick up on Saturday. i asked him if how can I pay him, he said either cashapp, zelle and apple pay. I asked if I can use paypal. He took time to reply and make excuses that he was busy with customer, then he gave the paypal account and said it’s friend and family account.

 

Scam-a-rooni! Zelle, cash app, f and f only. Has all the hallmarks.

My wife got snookered on one of these about a week ago. Co-workers FB had an ad selling some furniture. She figured it was safe. Co-workers FB was hacked. Bye bye $$. Same MO. Put $ down and pick it up later.
