Nice thats the look im going for. After the spacers and the bigger tires do you find youre getting any rub?

And for those hating on putting spacers on a trd pro.....how is it any different than people installing aftermarket rims with more negative offsets to a pro? I cant imagine there would be any more stress on the lugs and suspension than doing that.

I ran 265/70r17 on FN wheels that stuck out about 1.25" further than stock for over a year. I was able to leave the mud flaps on, but got plenty of rub the first time I took it on the trail. They still survived though, but maybe not for people that shit themselves when they hear that growl. I never cared, and never wore through the flaps.

right on, nothing a little bit of heat moulding wouldnt fix anyways, i had a 2014 trails team pro access cab with stock suspension and i had some minor rubbing when i put on 265 75 r16s but it didnt phase me too much

Any body else have pictures of a pro with spacers?

There have actually been a handful of people willing to run 33s on stock pros. I wouldn't worry about fitment if you have the attitude that things can be "fixed". Just do it man.

Really? What aspect ratio? Running 255/85s or 285/75s? I think if i went that big without changing the stock suspension for more lift it probably wouldnt look good.

There's a thread about 285s on stock Pros.

Throwing the truck up 6", no problem. Widen the stance by a couple inches, instant death.

Widen the stance with a wider wheel and different offset. That's far better than any spacer. IMO.

If you use hub-centric spacers, what measurable difference does it make? Especially if you want to keep stock wheels.

Well I don't use hub centric spacers, so I don't know to tell you.

My bad, I interpreted your post as to there being some information regarding how wheels are "far better" than proper spacers in terms of adding the same amount of stance. I'm always open to learning.

If you want to widen the track width of your truck, wheels with a wider offset is safer than a spacer.

Only true argument here imo is the extra connection with the possibility of another failure point… ie. running a 100’ ex cord versus 2 at 50’

That broken stud on the spider spacers above could very well been an installer error not a spacer failure too. If the lugs get tightened to much, likely with an impact or repeatedly I’m sure that can happen. As I type this I think I’ll figure how to rotate my own tires without a lift because we all know they use impacts and no torque.

I would not use the spacers, moving the tires out more will kick rocks and all kinds of crap on the side of that new shinny Pro. Your paint will thank you.
