Do you guys think maybe if you switch out the canbus to an idatalink maestro will fix the issue?

I have the Dasaita - I have the dongle hidden behind the head unit - its really easy to do, since there is a regular USB connection between your factory USB outlet, and the plug that connects to the head unit. I put the dongle there, so I just plug my lightning cable directly into the factory USB port

@delonix have you received any update to the reset of settings when the unit crashes and reboots?

They suspect that is something in the wiring. Still researching, no final fix. They did provide me an android update, now the head unit is more stable.

DIY, GPS plug. Using the connector of the extra harness that came with my unit(other brand, I guess is the same with Dasaita), made a cable to use the stock GPS antenna.

Any noticeable difference in performance? Saves one less thing to mount up that's for sure.

Nope, works exactly the same way. As you say, one less cable to route. I was parked at the carport at that time.

Does the Iying headunit use ZLINK for Wired CarPlay?

My seicane uses ZLINK and it had an option to add features on the about page.

I contacted zjinnova and for $40 they sent me the authorization code to unlock wireless CarPlay. So I now have wireless CarPlay with no dongle.

Should be the same here. I use wireless Android Auto with headunit reloaded that allows also up to 1080 resolutions.

Is not the supplier that will give you the wireless CarPlay. ZLINK is made by zjinnova, I went to there webpage and contacted them directly and they unlocked the feature. So if you use ZLINK you can get wireless CarPlay.

I just emailed guwenbiao@zjinnova.com. They asked for photos of my about screen, then I sent payment through PayPal. With in 5 minutes they sent me the authorization code. Made sure I had internet while inputing the authorization code as instructed.

Now I have wireless CarPlay through the ZLINK app.

This is what I did to avoid the change from Miles to Km. I removed the CAN BUS unit completely and connected the cables as shown on the picture. After that reprogrammed buttons using steering app. Now if I manage to crash the head unit, nothing changes on the center info panel.

What changes? The carinfo app does nothing(I never used it anyways) no TPMS and fuel range etc on the app.

    Hope this helps.

@benkitesurfs - I ordered these via ShapeWays and have used them before for my other 3D printing. Super thanks for creating these and lucked out that these were found deep in this post. Do you know if these will fit the latest Dasaita PX6 radio? I am having the exact problem. Bezel keeps popping off and it looks like its a very small adjustment but the brackets can't be adjusted. I will let you know if these work. I will also repost some of this over in the Dasaita thread - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...e-carplay-wireless-and-oem-audio-plus.620897/
