    Less than 5% of people who have shop work done complain on the internet about something having gone wrong, so it sounds like the math works out just fine and there really isn't some conspiracy to blame mechanics for everything.

    just get some "fender washers" or whatnot and put one in the middle and two in the rear, see how it looks and adjust if necessary.

    honestly it's not that bad considering you got it saved from a rusty frame :notsure:

    Dear all,
    Went to the shop and the welder/fabricator looked at it. He said he had checked the frame for level when he finished his frame work and it was ok then. But he’s sure it’s from the welding work and he’s going to shim the bed to align it. Seems very reasonable. I appreciate all your responses. Thank you!

    I’d suggest when the bed is off you check and see if this bend happened in the frame. If your welder does good work and checked it for level when he did the work, your frame may be weak somewhere other than where he fixed it. It bent elsewhere?
