Maybe because of its price, because we might admit = it is expensive

they are idiots. Tacoma is so poor (sarcasm) is is consistently one of the least days on hand in inventory out of all trucks in the USA...

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Where does it say that? It just shows a pic of a Tacoma, nothing about the V6.

Although a subscription is needed to get the full report, Consumer Reports offers a synopsis of its rating:

These articles are always very biased on comfort. That's why the hate the jeep so much and love the ridgeline. People love their independent suspensions

I find this odd though cuz I have always heard that the jeep wrangler is the #1 Value holding vehicle in America...

The only thing to be aware of is that this is Consumer Reports "overall" rating.

You might be tempted to read it and think they're rating/comparing reliability over the long haul (which is what CR is known for, after all) but they're not.

Thats cuz the ridgeline is not a truck but just an SUV.A ridgeline will never go where a Taco can go. AS far as consumers Reports go ,all they are good for is rating toasters and microwave ovens.

Ha ha I hope Toyota does not read CR garbage. It's a truck, not a puss wagon.

Funny thing is CR's own data indicates differently...

I love my tacoma, does it ride stiff? hell yeah, are the seats a little stiff? yeah. But unlike most Americans, I realize I bought a truck, not a luxury sedan with a bed.

however I did buy the 4 cylinder, so obviously it is better the the V6 model

these posts pop up every few months. Those reviews are done by people that expect everything to drive like a comfy luxury sedan. They hate the Tacoma because it drives like a truck, not a car.

It's just their opinion of the tacomas handling that they complain about. Not the reliability of the truck.

It's my opinion that they're a bunch of pussies complaining that an offroad capable vehicle doesnt handle like a luxury car.
