Duramax's have a lot of power. If he tried the Toyota would been dragged. If I tried this with my friend he would rip the rear of my truck off.

Duramax was on the brakes most of the time, his tires weren't even moving and I only heard the engine a little.

Lol, I thought gas engines were more polluting that diesel engines.

They crank up the injection pumps to dump more diesel.

I'm not all that familiar with Diesels, but my friends doesn't blow smoke like I see a lot of them doing.

Fuel mixtures are the opposite on diesels compared to gas engines. A gas engine will burn up if you run it too lean, whereas a diesel will do the same when run too rich for extended periods of time.

You cannot run a diesel too lean.

Dumping more fuel into the engine produces tons more power and also tons more heat. Those drag trucks are running extremely rich and have massive turbos on them. Fast as hell but you don't want to keep that setting when driving on the roads. :)

Yup....wasn't even moving half the time. Plus, the duramax looked like he had low profile street tires while the tacoma had mud tires.

Black smoke means too much fuel. Some idiots even run a smoke tune because they think it's cool.
