    Oh there will be some mods all right
    I didn't like the turning either, that was my main complaint. Also didn't feel as fast as the second gen I ended up purchasing. The final nails in the coffin were the lower resale and lesser aftermarket.

    Aren't the redesigned Frontiers coming out this year?

    Unless you get a steal on an '18 and you don't care for looks, I would suggest waiting or buying the Taco.

    From a total drivability standpoint the Frontier was wayyyy worse in my test drive. It has atrocious turning, like...absolutely atrocious. I've driven full size pickups that turn better than that thing. It's almost impressive that they managed to make the turn radius so bad compared to their class.

    If you live anywhere with tight parking you'd regret the Frontier to the max imo.
