I am a new member and I thought I'll share a misadventure with you. I had my TRD Offroad less than one month and had less than 1K miles on it and I decided to give it a good cleaning. I washed the truck in my backyard because it was shady there. When I was done I was backing it back into my driveway and forgot that there is a mailbox across from my driveway. First I clipped the left mirror and ripped the outer shell off and then I got the top of the left fender. Needless to say the damage was $1,700.00 and the neighbors mailbox just got a small scratch on its door. Maybe I should have bought a mailbox and put wheels on it. Seems to be tougher than the Taco :)

Welcome! Sorry to here about your accident, that mail box must have been housed in cement or brick. :(

Don't feel too bad, I sustained $4800 of hail damage before my first oil change.

Thanks for making feel welcome. Actually the mailbox is mounted on a wooden post. But the box is tin. I caught the right lower corner and that did all the damage. Score: Box=1, Taco=0

Guess you'd better put some trail damage on it just to get your money's worth. ;)

I got rear ended by a soccer mom at a stoplight, less than 30 days after purchase. I was ready to take my trailer hitch off the weekend before, but got side tracked. Glad I did, my hitch took the damage as did her grill. Small scratch on my bumper, but otherwise I was ok. Her front end was jacked, she backed up immediately, doing more damage to her front end.
