You're talking to a guy that loaded up BOTH trucks back to back and took them on a 2 day 400 mile camping trip, I know from experience the ridgeline can haul a lot more gear. The bed is 4" longer, 4" wider, less wheel well intrusion PLUS a massive in bed trunk (that alone fit my compressor, tents, sleeping bags, 2 chairs, stove, propane and cooler.... all of that would've had to squeeze into the bed in my taco which is already a smaller bed). Plus if you're not carrying rear passengers the rear seats fold UP (like the Tundra) which allows even more gear to be stuffed in. The DCLB would be more comparable, it is 10" longer but 4" narrower. So you pickup an extra 6" of bed space in the LB, but still no in bed trunk, still less room in the rear of the cab so id STILL give the edge to the Ridgeline for hauling all the gear.

Doesn't matter what you post you won't convince the fan boys that the Ridgeline is physically bigger than the Taco. They get angry :annoyed: as to why this thread exists and that it should be shut down/locked :goingcrazy:, yet they keep posting here  . If something bothered me that much I would just not comment or even visit the thread :notsure:.

I parked next to a Ridgeline today.

I'm happy to report my ego is intact.

Dude you've commented in this thread more than any other single user, and you seem to have a fascination with other men's fashion and "manliness"..... that doesn't sound very alpha to me, sounds like overcompensation.

Plus I thought those altrighters preferred the word "snowflake", step up on your terminology to properly offend those libtard SJWs and fight that white male genocide!! We're counting on you, don't be a cuck!

Meh, forums are for sharing info, experiences, and opinions.

My opinion is that I would never buy a vehicle I find to be "fugly", regardless of said vehicle's perceived superior functionality. Just say no to fugly vehicles.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

That being said, I agree. I think the last Ridgeline bodystyle was better (bleh). Looked kinda like an Avalanche.

eh the honda looks like a fine truck for a lot of people who just want the truck bed but arent gonna be doing anything too crazy. plenty of tacomas are just mall crawlers. i love my TRD OR but I'd rather own a ridgeline over some of the fugly ass tacomas modded to look like pimp my ride got their hands on them.

Although I am not a fan of a lot of the aesthetics of the ridgeline either, especially the back of the cab where it meets the bed.

    Same as everybody else...
I've seen a few driving around and even talked to a guy at Lowe's about his. The Hondas I've seen were all driven by older dudes. That being said I'm 58 and I'm not trying to say all Ridgelines are driving are card carrying members of the AARP. Honda is smart enough to realize there's a market for a "urban" small pickup not to compete head to head with the more established brands. Hyundai is getting ready to release a similar type vehicle, rumored to have a small diesel as an option. I'm not interested in either type, Ill stick to my Tacoma.

Part of the appeal of a truck is the aggressive looks of trucks. When I look at my Tacoma I think it looks aggressive. When I look at the Ridgeline I think it looks boring and bland. It looks exactly like the front end of the new Pilots (which it probably is).

With any new design, it takes some time to get used to them- I think within a year or two they will grow on me
