This post got my attention because at my small company we lease 4 vehicles. I got my 2017 Tacoma this time around. One of my business partners has chosen Pilot's for his 2008, 2011, 2014, and for his new vehicle (again a Pilot) scheduled for delivery on Wednesday. His will be an EX-L with AWD. I double checked all of the paperwork, and everything indicates his will be coming with a 6-speed automatic. Maybe they've backtracked from the 9-speed for 2017?

I know plenty of guys with "hot" rides that fall into the "getting laid" category. The common factor? None of them ever get laid, but all have tens of thousands of forum posts ;).

ZF makes good transmissions, but I've heard nothing but bad things about their 9 spd transaxles. Honda should have built their own IMO.

People forgot all the V6 problems Honda had with their trannys in the Accord, TL-S, Odysseys in the past....

True, but that was in the late nineties and their new 6 spd auto is supposed to be very nice. I personally have only had 4 cyl Hondas and never had a transmission problem.

I tested out a theory today that I kinda picked up on in this thread. I followed a guy into Costco after I saw him park his ridgeline. I just wanted to see what a guy like this shops for or even does. It sounds weird but I was super bored and my curiosity got the best of me. This guy tried on like 15 sets of pleated jeans... they didn't even have a button, they were elastic. Has anybody ever even seen these things before? Anyway. I watched this dude eat like a billion samples of some stupid cookie and then he went outside to the food court thing. I'm thinking what the fuck man you didn't even buy anything, it's like you just needed to get away from your wife because she bosses you around. So you went to Costco. I then realized I'm the other guy who FOLLOWS a dude INTO Costco because I have way too much time. He got a single hot dog. With ketchup. That's it. Not even relish, or sauerkraut. Just. Ketchup. I don't know why but it angered me. And who eats a single hot dog? Something inside me snapped. I walked right up to this guy and stared him straight in the face and said "give me your hotdog." It's like I was in a dream or like how a guy becomes a werewolf and doesn't know what he is doing, he just knows he's not in control. And the guy fuckin handed that hot dog over. I didn't even break eye contact, I took my finger and whipped off the ketchup and ate the thing in two bites. I felt like the terminator. So crazy how he just watched me eat it. Now I have this thing where I find people who have ridgelines, and I just fuckin eat their food in front of them. So primal bro.

Not that any of you care but I got a pretty cool truck and enjoy driving it.

Having said that I'd like to have moment of silence for the Falcons who blew it and let that schmo win again.................silence..............now the course of the thread may proceed.

Do you need to know, or care?
He didn't mention dressing room. I'm thinking he was pulling them over his yoga tights.

I saw a Ridgeline at the dealer today. Looked like a horse abortion of a minivan with a lawn mower dump cart bed made on it. Do you have to forfeit your testicles when you buy one of those things?

So then the Ridgeline driving Guy at Costco trying on pants, was a real man?

You guys need to make up your minds. Either Ridgeline owners are pussys or real men. Which is it?
