    Decent size city near seattle. It sucks looking for tacoma parts on craigslist because it doesn't separate actual parts from the location the parts are located.

    I split my time between Washington and Arizona but lived in WA for years and generally NO, tacoma is not a nice place. It is an industrial port town and is surrounded by some of the worst suburbs in Washington (lakewood). If you head 20 minutes in any direction you are in a better area but tacoma generally sucks.
