I also find my self more apt to park beside a Tacoma if the chance comes up and will let one out in traffic ...

I grew up in the deep south. Everyone waves to everyone and it doesn't depend on whether or not you know them.

I've also owned quite a few cycles and cycle people wave to other cycle people even if it's a different make.

If someone waves at you and your first thought is that you won't wave back because you don't know them and your second thought is to post in a forum about how weird it was then you need to take inventory of your inner douchebag. You probably rank pretty high on that scale and need to do some soul searching.

It's not that bad... Social interactions make you a happier person, combats depression, etc etc. ask any teacher or volunteer why they love their job and I bet the number one answer is the positive social interaction they get from their job.
That kind of went off course but you get what I'm saying

Yeah.. on my Goldwing.... those Harley guys don't wave much... they are too scared to take one hand off the Handlebars cuz of the "Harley Shake", I guess.... Most other bikers wave all the time...
Tacoma guys up here in the Great White North ALL wave to each other..... I've even had Ford and Dodge guys wave at me.... I think they are saying "Nice truck" ("wish I had got one also")...!!
But, in Canada, we all wave at each other all the time...!
We are just nice and friendly..:canada::canada:

I'm in Houston and usually see 10+ Tacoma' on any given daily drive. Most are 1st & 2nd gen, usually with Hispanic ladies or older Caucasian men at the wheel. I see the occasional 1st-2nd gen lifted with mods, however are usually going the opposite direction. All the 3rd gen's I've seen, which are few and far between, are usually Caucasian ladies in what I would guess to be there late 40's to mid 50's.

8 month old dead truck at 11 at night while on vacation is a legit complaint. The facts are tough to argue with.
