Around here,Muscle Cars ,regardless of brand, wave.
I've gotten several waves in the FJ, even from a few Jeeps.

I have to agree with others that parking next to each other is more "Tacoma" style. Maaaybe a nod at a stoplight. Keep it classy and low-key.

I only wave when driving on country roads at everybody I pass. Cuz they are all really friendly.

Coming from previously owning a Subaru, I miss the social aspect of it. Other Subaru owners have no problem coming up and talking to you with nothing else to start a convo other then they appreciate the same love of a vehicle as you do. I expect it's the same as owning a jeep just a lot less homo activities involved.

When I bought my '79 RX-7 when we'd pass we'd flip up the headlights as a wave.

When I had my STi I didn't see much waving, it was more of a subtle chin-nod than anything else.

Lifted. 33 X12 on 17" wheel. Pocket flares. TRD grill.
Not all Jeeps wave. Since the Jku's hit the market they have become the new suv for some and I rarely get a wave from them, unless it's built on 35-37's.

I see many more Tacomas on the road and would have a hard time trying to wave to every one.

When I had my '93 4 Runner lifted, sas on 35's I would always wave to other built Toyota 4 Runners or Trucks.

After getting some MGM paint for my color matched headlight project @ AutoZone, it happened. I turned onto Lake Ave and there it was, a jacked up Tacoma coming my way. This thread instantly popped into my head as we headed towards each other. It was like coming in for a first kiss, not knowing if it would happen. Should I? Will he? And then it happened...he waved. Being a fellow Tacoma owner, and knowing he to probably read this thread, I waved back. And I must say, I liked it. :D Until we meet again brother...

Also coming from the Subaru community, I am shocked but the lack of friendliness. I wave at other tacos and Subarus. I get more waves from the Subaru. I get flicked off occasionally from Toyota owners. Not sure if it is the age of the owners or what. Even the forums and groups get a little hostile. I enjoy my vehicles and I enjoy seeing others share in the passion.

I wave to whoever I see on the trail. Sometimes they wave first, sometimes I wave first. I've had plenty of jeep trains wave with a friendly smile out on a trail.

I pull next to other Tacoma owners at traffic lights often enough. I always look over to check out the truck and give a nod to the other driver.

Most of the time it's just some old dude that owns a Tacoma and doesn't even notice he's next to another Tacoma.

Don't think everyone loves their Tacoma the way I do...or even love their truck the way I do.
