    I'm kinda surprised there aren't more Tacoma's in the Boise area. South Idaho seems to be all full size ram/ford/chevy. I guess it's a farmer thing.

    Portland Oregon about every 3rd vehicle is a Tacoma, at least it used to be. I bought a brand new 1989 4x4 reg cab long bed for $9999.00 from Thomason Toyota in Portland. That was a killer deal! Made in Japan and about the highest quality best made vehicle I have ever owned. That thing was flawless.

    This. The ones who wave are typically the ones that have a history with Toyots trucks and would be known as enthusiasts. Those who "hate" on the wave are probably new to Tacomas and don't understand that most of us here actually love these trucks and aren't driving them because everyone else is.
