Tacoma wave?

i'm used to it for VW and especially modified VW. sometimes I'll be in a different car and forget I'm not in my jetta and still wave to others and look like I'm crazy. Oh well.

 

I thought for Beetles it is the "Peace" sign.... aka "deuces"

 

I rarely see beatles and I usually wave to golfs and jettas.

Maybe some of us don't get waves back because people are too busy checking our trucks out to see us wave and are just dumbfounded by how awesome are trucks look compared to theirs.

 

Could be. Mine's a piece of shit, I am sometimes intimidated by awesome trucks.

I grew up riding motorcycles, used to partake in the "bro wave". I just can't stand it anymore. I kinda got over it after a few instances of people going well out of their way to wave... such as in the apex of a turn, or beeping and hollering from the other side of the highway.
I love my new Taco, and haven't seen many 3rd gens around, so when I do I give a nod or a saulte, same with older gens.. kind of like a "hey, I'm one of you now.. and this thing is fuckin awesome!"
Guess I shouldn't be a hypocrite and start doing the bro wave again :/

I used to wave at 3rd gens but don't anymore except for the OR version (maybe 25% wave or nod back). I figure the 1st and 2nd gen folks won't wave back at a turd gen so I don't even try. There are lots of these things on the road now and I think most folks just use them and are not "enthusiasts" like TW members.

 

I try to wave back at anyone who waves to start with. No matter the vehicle. It's rude if you don't.

The worst is when other people wave but your hand isn't in a viewable position to where they can see you wave back (like one hand on the lower part of the steering wheel and the other on the center console).
