A REAR BUMPER THAT DOES NOT RUST OUT! My garage kept truck is only 8 years old and I need to replace my rear bumper already A local Toyota service manager told me this is a common problem with Tacoma's

 

I got my sprayed so hopefully this doesn't happen. I didn't know that was a problem w/ Tacos.

Lower first and reverse.
SFA
E-locker up ft.
Manual x-fer case
Or at the very least make it an option

 

sun roof. cant believe they had them on the previous gen but not the new gen tacoma

Also, I'd love to have a diesel.

 

How about a factory navigation?
How about a factory moon roof?
How about a double cab X-Runner?
How about relocating the outlets as to not interfere with the drinks in the cup holder?
How about an having a 12V outlet inside the truck instead of only outside on the bed?
Just to name a few!

And change the funky lookin' tail lights, as well as the flux capacitor in the back of the access cab.

The year before I get a truck, they take the specific model I'm hoping for and make it look all funky.

 

A 14th cup holder. What if I have 7 people and they all have two drinks? Rude.

 

* In the manual shift truck - More room for my left foot.
* Redesign the windows / door frame / whatever to reduce wind buffeting with windows down. It's annoying as hell when you roll down the window and get a blast of hot / cold air in your left ear. Maybe this is not a problem in the 4 door trucks? Sure is in my Access cab.
* Clutch that doesn't require you to bench press weights with your left leg so you are strong enough to use it.
* iPod interface, or at least an aux input (do the 2009 trucks have this?)
* Power rear window.
* Locking tail gate
* Bed lighting.
* 12v outlet in console (make sure to put the iPod adaptor in there too...)

Sunroof would be nice, you could get one in the older trucks why not ours?

def! why didnt they put them there? they're so useful.

For my addition: Turbo Diesel power! a tougher tailgate, doors on acc cab open 170 degrees so you dont get trapped in parking spots, an integrated trip computer, better tires from the factory, factory rock sliders on the off road's (FJ's have the option, why not us?)... maybe some other stuff that isnt coming to mind at the moment

 

Electric seats! My seats suck on a long trip with no adjustments.
12V always on outlet in console and in bed.
Option for BFG all terrain tires not rugged trail.
Real skid plates not the aluminum bling plate.
Homelink with on board computer for gas mileage.

 

X a million on the rear disks and the heated mirrors. i was actuually thinkin about that on the way home from with this morning when i couldnt see out of them

 

A true hybrid Tacoma could get 35 mpg--the hybrid Ford SUV gets 35 mpg on the highway. PLEASE, Toyota?!?

 

Bring back the back seat without the center console. Don't know what they were thinking with that change.

Break lights that don't make me feel like I'm on the Starship Enterprise.

A cargo light would be nice.

Maybe it's the redneck romantic in me, but I'd like a bench seat in the access cab so my gal can sit in the middle next to me. Or at least make the regular cab available in Canada.

Firmer breaks would be great.

 

o yea, and in my opinion a dash that doesnt scratch so easy

 

full leaf springs so i could put a huge lift and 44"s on it and not have that stupid vibration.
