I have a 2012 Tacoma that for a couple of years has had a vibration. I bought it from the original owner and he said that it had a fender bender and that may have been where the problem came in. He said it dented the hood and quarter panel. I took the truck to Toyota and they said it was the tire. I took it to Walmart where I bought new Goodyear tires and they said they balanced it again. Took it back a few months later and they said they found one bad tire. Still vibrated. I took it back a couple months later and they said they found a very slight lump in one tire but to drive it for a bit to see if it gets worse. I then took it back and asked for a tire replacement. They did it but said when they took off the tire the rim was out. It does not look damaged but it is not perfectly true. Toyota wants 180 for a new rim. That is way too much. I can get new rims for 75 bucks each after market. I was looking on Craigslist for someone who has rims they want to sell. Is there some place I should look on line? My thing is shipping would be high. I live in SW Florida

You can buy cheap OEM wheels a lot of places.

Try here in the Florida regional subforum, also.

I wouldn't spend more than $50-75 a wheel, which is the going rate.
