The avid bar got its inspiration from the arctic trucks front bar. Now we have to figure out a way to get a company to make the fender flares that are on the Arctic Truck Tacomas. http://arctictrucks.com/pages/1575 . There is a company called junglefenderflares.com that makes Fenderflares for pretty much all the Toyota Trucks exept for the Current Gen Tacoma and Tundra. I emailed them today to see what they could do. Does anyone else have an idea?? Lets get the ball ROLLING!!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i would definately be on board for a fender that's between stock and the massive arctic trucks. a good flare for me would be large enough provide coverage of 285's on a 4.5" BS rim....if they can make that, we're gravy

I as well as many other have contacted Arctic Trucks... Arctic Trucks Reply is always that they have another company make them. I was in contact with a person that lives in Iceland and they forwarded me a couple companies email addresses, but to no evail I never heard back from any of them. The fact that everything was over seas and language barriers.. It was too much we need someone in North america to make them.

This is what I'm talking about http://arctictrucks.com/lisalib/getfile.aspx?itemid=1982

SO Arctic Trucks will not sell the flares seperately? Or did it never get that far due to the language issue. They do look badass.

I read on somewhere that someone had gotten a quote from Arctic trucks and they wanted $1000 dollars plus shipping from Iceland. Haha. I guess if you've got it spend it.

The Flares I'm Reffering too, they are using with 35x12,5R17” tires wich is a 12.5 inch Tire width. I honestly think they would sell like hot cakes.

Ya these are definalty THE nicest flares. I just got a reply back from Bushwacker and they said that they won't try making these (Cut out Style) because they had a hard time making the pocket style ones. I really wish it would be easy to find a company to make these or at the very least to find who Arctic trucks gets to make them and then get a group buy together.

SOMEONE has to be able to find out if we can order these or not. I WANT THEM!

I don't think they would look bad with 285/70/17's .

lol....everyone go to junglefenderflares.com and request they make some for the 2nd gens. they make some 2.5" coverage (where BW is only 1.75") for the 1st gens and they are only $250 for the set. i wrote on their wall asking for they to make some for us. go to news at the bottom and then on the right side will be a topic about adding new models.
