So after speaking to a few printers for a poster it may not be a reality. The size of the poster needed to actually see each of the trucks is not a typical size that is on hand. So this leads to a special order of paper that is really expensive for the entire roll. When we are only looking to have maybe 50 to 100 of them printed the pricing is pretty darn high for each piece. I will call a few other shops to get additional options.

 

sell the print to toyota for them to develop

 

Ok so the cheapest price I have found to order between 50 to 100 prints is $21 for each. Does that sound to high to anyone? This is for a 2 x 3 print on a standard gloss paper, full color.

 

for a 24x36 poster, that's not too bad really

Cool, I've never ordered posters before so I wasn't sure on pricing other than the $7 band posters I bought as a kid lol

only reason why posters that are for retail sale are cheap is because they make 1000's of them...with <100 the price is higher per poster

you could even look into a matte finish which should be cheaper...not sure which would be best with this application, but it's an option that should also be explored

Yeah, but I fel that if they are going to be made that they sould atleast look as good as possible. If matte saves $6 in the total cost I would rather pay a few extra bucks for them to look good.

 

matte doesn't always make the product look worse...it various application to application

i'd almost print one of each maybe in a smaller size to see the quality difference...you'd be surprised sometimes...more $$ does not always mean better photos
