Tacoma world iphone app!!!

Wouldn't that be cool??

I've seen a lot of mods to accommodate the Iphone or Ipod Touch just imagine having an app for instant access to TW!

 

There is a link at the top to go to smart phone version. Have you tried that? Pretty much like an ap.

Lol. It makes a world of difference. Super quick too. It's limited in some aspects though.

 

I agree that an iPhone App for TW would be awesome! Though the mobile version is pretty nice.

not for long, google phone is coming along. I have the htc hero and this phone is greatness! and could someone show me where this smart phone thing is on the site?

 

Go to your internet access app on your phone (our's is Safari.) Go to tacomaworld.com Once it loads, look at the top right above the Control Panel and here is a banner that says: >>iPhone/Android/Smartphone Style

Click it and you're good to go.

I still think the iPhone rules the smartphone world I don't think android has caught on like they intended it to. My friend has the htc moment and IMHO android feels like a beta version of the iPhone o.s the scrolling isn't as smooth and it doesn't feel as responsive as my 3gs. The iPhones about the only apple product I like the rest is overpriced garbage

I love my iPhone 3G & I have no complaints whatsoever about my MacBook Pro. It was pricy, but I don't have any hangups that I experienced in the past with PCs. Worth every penny of my income tax return

 

I went to school at the University of Louisiana Lafayette back in the 90's when it was USL. I root for the Tigers during football season, but every other sport it's Geaux Cajuns!

 

Remember, Apple has about a 3 year head start on Google. I like my andriod phone because I can sync it with my gmail, google calendar, google maps, and any other thing that google makes which is pretty much everything. The app store is better for Apple, but google is working on this.

 

iPhones do that as well, its called ME.COM
It is a service that gives you room on the web for websites, photo albums, syncs all your contacts, calenders without having to hook up at all. If you lose your phone or it gets tolen it evem has a GPS function that shows you where it is. You make a change on your phone, it updates on your me.com account. If you have MAC comps at the house it syncs as well as soon as you make the change. I run all MACs at the house and I will never go back. I can even control my comps from my iphone where ever i am at.

I actually almost went to ULL (as it's called now) but instead I took the athletic scholarship in my backyard (SLU). I pull for LSU over anybody, then local universities, and the Baylor Women's basketball team (Coach Mulkey is a local.)

 

I was the athletic trainer for ULL baseball team during my time there, it seems every year we would lose to the LSU baseball team at regionals. So therefore I hate LSU baseball.

 

Understood. Been on the downside of those kind of situations before! UL/LSU softball post-season match-ups are common and intense as well.

 

Yvette Giraurd still coaching at LSU? She was the Head Cheese at USL when I was there. She is a good lady, and a great coach.

 

Yep, she's awesome! Pushed really hard and now the Lady Tigers play in a new, state-of-the-art, Tiger Park facility.
