Too often I see a post in which a member is showing off a mod he/she has done to their truck, and they get critisised for it, or told it looks stupid, or whatever. Knock it off. Why cant props be given for the effort involved? Or for the fact that they are enjoying their truck? Hell, If someone puts a cowbell on the front of their truck, it seems to be forgoten that ITS THEIR TRUCK!

That is all.......Mods...go ahead and delete this if you want...Im gonna go eat cake now....

Agreed, except for the cake. I hate cake. Let's all keep the cake to yourselves.

I am going to offer something on the contrary. I see posts all the time about "What should I do to my truck" or "What would you do". Come on people, if you are going to let a community of people decide how you spend hundreds to thousands of dollars, there is something wrong with you.

Otherwise I agree completely and can't help but to think back to the infamous tire gate thread

I normally keep my comments on this side of the computer. And the one time I did ask for opinions, and got nothing but hate (save for a few) I still ended up buying the wheels I wanted. It seems like some people's mother's never taught them the old saying

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

There is nothing wrong with offering up ideas, or maybe showing them what you did on your truck, then letting them make the desision on their own. If you dont like the post, dont go in it. If they ask a question that was asked earlier, either help them, ignor the post, or offer guidance to where the answer may lie.....lay...whatever..

Tacoma World is a good community, and a wealth of info for everyone.
I see NO reason for a post to be answered with

"SEARCH!" Or a varient of such. Everysingle person on this site was new at one time, and has done a mod to their truck that others may not have liked, or was a first time visitor on a web site and unfamilliar with the layout. Chill out, help, or ignor the post.

Haha the few times I asked for opinions I said I don't really care what you think, just want some feedback. I ended up going against the majority both times haha. But I wanted people to see the newer Ideas I had

You are preachin to the choir (most likely the ones that do respond to this). I just hate it when people get on and ask "Should I get an ehxaust, sliders, hood struts, hookers or aids?"

I understand the posts of people that ask for pros and cons of something specific. But it all comes down to what you said originally, its individual trucks, do what YOU want. If you like it you shouldn't care what the rest say, much less do what they want to do to your own vehicle

Thats different. If you ask for opinions, expect to get them. The original post is referencing when people post mods they have already COMPLETED and get ripped a new one for
