    Last month, while I was still overseas, I placed an order for rock sliders at TacomaBeast... The website indicated they were in stock and available to ship, which is a plus, because I'm taking my truck cross country during my leave. Unfortunately I have received no further updates on my email. I have called on and off for the last week, and sent two emails. The last two days I have blasted their phone lines during business hours, and it seems like no one is in. I ordered from them before the "fiasco" of vandalism because I heard only positive things about the company. I ordered the Apex Fabworks sliders due to them being veteran owned.

    I don't know what else to do, besides put in a stop with my bank if nothing is done. I'll update as I receive word, but as of now, this is a friendly PSA: their customer service is complete and utter trash ... :(

    I'd try and get that money back if they haven't returned any calls or emails, because they were just on TW a couple days ago to comment on someone else's complaint

    Moral of the story is to order direct from manufacturer, goodluck man

    Do they have an @ on here? I haven't saw them around. Just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt before I burn down the house.

    I always feel a little sketched out ordering from "brand ambassador" companies. I feel like if the manufacturer sells them direct, it's probably best to order straight from them. Usually a bigger company like that will have a better customer service team. If TacmaBeast is just one guy managing all of this, he might not have time to get to emails as quickly as the manufacturer. Just a thought. Never dealt with TacomaBeast directly so I really don't have any evidence to back that up. :cheers:

    @ripcalifornia appreciate that man.

    And customs, I completely agree with that. I've never ordered from a brand ambassador before, and heard great things about them, so I decided to give them a go... The way it looks, I'll never do it again.

    So after calling, DMing, and searching, I got ahold of the actual company and talked to Chris. My rock sliders shipped, I just didn't get any confirmation or anything. Should be here today he said. I'll let everyone know if my wife gets them.

    Update: so after calling CaliRaised/Apex and talking to Chris, TB finally messaged me yesterday after the fact, with a dead tracking number. But the good news is that CR was super helpful and the sliders are being delivered today. The freight company called my wife, and all is good. Moral of the story: Don't order from BAs. Thanks for the help!

    Public service announcement: if you pay with a credit card, and you’re given a latest arrival date, and the item never shows up or shows up late, you can dispute the credit card charges successfully. If it’s shipped freight you can also reject delivery if it is late. Often this happens when you need something by that date and so you go out and buy something else because you can’t afford to wait.

    I feel like not enough folks know what kind of protections a credit card purchase offers.

    They do have TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered some bumper shields off the site and a label was created 4 days ago but nothing has shipped. No emails or phone calls have been answered. I will definitely look to my credit card company and will never order anything from them again. I suggest no one else does too

    Not defending tacomabeast or anything they do, but a lot of companies do this, they create the label from their own computer right after the purchase so they can keep track of everything, then they wait until certain days to ship it. It might take a little for them to transfer it to the post office because they ship online orders in waves.

    If you don't get a response, and can't get a refund you can call your bank or credit card company and have them do a reverse payment. I've done this a couple times telling my bank that I ordered something, and they went cold turkey, haven't responded to my emails, and won't issue a refund.

    I got my money back a couple days later.

    Might be worth looking into.
