Hello all, new tacoma owner here and I already have a problem to solve. Keeping a possibly confusing story brief: I bought a 2021 SR5 taco about 2 weeks ago. After telling a friend, she explained that she had a tacoma, but it was totaled in an accident. She bought black out headlights and tailights, but nowhere to put them. She gifted them to me and I eagerly tried to install them. Much to my chagrin only after pulling everything apart did I realize the wiring harness don't match. I went back and checked the upc on the boxes and it appears that the lights are for TRD models. FML . I've reached out to tacomabeast (the manufacturer) and they said that they do not make an adapter for "plug and play". I'm unsure of how to proceed from here: they're a gift so I can't return them, I have no experience with splicing or putting together harnesses so that's kinda out. I'm hoping I don't have to resort to selling them and going BACK to buy another set. Does anyone have experience with this issue? It's been 5 years for the 3rd gens, does anyone know if there is an adapter out there?? TIA

If you don't drive at night, they look really cool. If you do drive at night, keep the better light output of the stock headlights

no words to describe how terrible the headlight quality is on those. You’re better off driving with just the fog lights on tbh. Keep the stock lights or get a set of Alpharex because they are plug and play
