This is a set of TacomaBeast headlights (made by Spyder?) that have been getting some attention here on the forum.

They work extremely well, the light output is amazing and the projectors are great!
However, I've moved to a place with less ambient light at night and gotten a fix-it ticket, so I'm just going back to a stock-looking housing.

They're approximately 4 months old, and in perfect condition. No issues at all.
They take H1 bulbs for the headlight, and work well with halogen and HID.

    I'm asking $250 OBO.

I can also throw in a set of HID H1 bulbs for $20

Located in Central Oregon, buyer pays shipping.

    Thank you,
    Brandon

Could have been a number of factors, like running the HID bulbs - they are super bright but have good cutoff lines!

Are you sure it wasn't driving with Cali plates that got you? Obviously if you can afford to move to Oregon, you can afford to pay the ticket.

Are these still for sale? I'd be very interested in them if they are.

I'm also interested and I'm in Seattle. Let me know if they're not sold.

Also, if I have to buy them new, is the white strip a daytime running light LED?
Are the brights actually functional? And what's the rectangular lenses under the brights for?

    They're still available.

The white strip is the DRL, very crisp and clean look.
Brights are functional - the projectors are the regular power and then the standard reflector housing is the brights, however you don't get that crisp cut-off line as you would with the projectors.
The rectangular lens below the brights are the turn signals.

    Thank you!

How were they with the HID’s in them? I currently have a retrofit, but love the look of these headlights. Just wondering if you took an output picture or any comments about them! Worried about putting HID’s in the stock projectors. Here is my current output...

The light output was great with the projectors - the cutoff line was super crisp and I went with the 5500 color, which was perfect.
No complaints at all on the performance of the lights, other than I would suggest you take the time to aim them really well.. as you will blind other drivers and even the reflections off of street signs back at you can be very bright!

On TB's website, it says these headlights "Does not support LED or HID bulbs". Can you explain why they wouldn't and/or how you used them anyway?
