Tacomabeast headlights?

    Lift ,wheels,tires, bumpers
    Has anyone ever switched out the bulbs like the low beams and high beams and the Tacomabeast projector lights because I was told it’s not much brighter than stock is that true also can I plug in my bulbs that are in my truck right now into them and I have a 2 gen

    The problem with Tacomabeast headlights is not the bulbs, but the optics themselves. It's a poor design issue. In short, they suck. Unfortunately, "brighter" bulbs aren't going to hep.

    Either get a proper retrofit from one of the fine vendors here, or go with @crashnburn80 ’s headlight upgrade mod

    There are no aftermarket headlights for the 2nd Gen that are decent. Aftermarket is far worse in both performance and quality compared to OEM and TacomaBeast/Spyder are some of the worst. If you want good projectors, retrofit OEM Lexus RX350 projectors, stay away from cheap H1 offerings from Morimoto. However it is much easier to just upgrade the output of the already good OEM assemblies for better performance.

    I 2nd the OEM Lexus projector bit. I still have my LS460R retrofits built by TRS Andrew on for over 5 years and they’re still going strong. I stick with OEM(Toyota or Lexus) parts when I can
