    Hey Everyone,

I bought my truck in December of 18. It is my first Toyota and I have been very happy with it. I ran with a fairly simple but functional build since around June of 19. I basically just had bilstein 5100s up front, Baja fog lights, diamondback cover, and Icon rxt leaf packs with 2.0 shocks in the rear.

My wife and I are planning to get out and travel more before we have kids so we are kicking the build into high gear. I am going to do my best to keep this up to date. Lots of change coming June-July 2020!

Edit as of 7/14/20.. The change happened!

    Current Build List:
    • Suspension

    Just a driver mod.
Good luck and can't wait to see the end result. Super jealous of your wheels. I picked up a Super White but couldn't get the black wheel option.

Thanks! Seems good so far. It is definitely a little stiffer but in a good way. I wasn't a big fan of the stock suspension feeling so squishy up front. I am glad I went 1.1 on the 5100s instead of 1.5 or more though. They just aired the tires to the psi in the door so I will play with tire pressure over the next few weeks to fine tune mpg vs comfort.

Did you do the 5100's all around or just the front? BTW - looks good

Just the front for now. The shop was doing a special on tires that I didn't want to pass up so I went ahead and leveled the front (setting 3). I am going to do the rear relatively soon though.

    Update!

So I haven't really kept up with this thread. Brace yourselves for the cliff notes.

As I mentioned in the op, I had a pretty simple build for a while. My wife recently got on board with traveling and camping with me so my long time wish list finally got the necessary support in congress to move forward.

I have had some time over the past few months to do a lot of the work myself. I painted and installed the RCI sliders, installed the prinsu, the KBVoodoo, the tent, switch pros, power tray, weboost, etc.

That just left the bigger jobs that I wasn't really comfortable doing at home. I took the truck to a newer shop over in Asheville NC (Asheville Vehicle Outfitters) and they did a fantastic job on the rest. They installed the bumper, winch, gears, compressor, BP51s, add a leaf for my icons, and lockers. The truck drove like a dream on the way home. I am taking it in to the dealer for the recommended 500 mile diff fluid flush on Wednesday and then we are all set.

We have a trip for NH planned in the fall as well as plenty of more local stuff for the time being. We are so happy with it.
