    Transmission was ordered 3 weeks ago. Seller on eBay decided to cancel the order and say I requested it. So now I’m on the hunt for a transmission to even get the motor mounts finished.

    And I bought a 1st gen. 3rd gen is going to slow for me, I need to wheel.

    2.7 3rz
    Manual trans
    Manual locking hubs
    No exhaust :)

    Then I went over it and it needed a few things.

    -passenger cv- currently replaced
    -Passenger rear shock mount- cut out old one and welded in new replacement plate with new mount
    -clutch needed adjusted and new fluid- done
    -new hood, all fed up- found a hood at the junkyard, same color too! Just faded a bit.
    -drivers steering boot- still need to replace
    -deep cleaning- vacuumed and cleaned the first day
    -bad pinion seal, fluid everywhere- replaced today

    Grabbed a detriot locker since this thing is open/ open. Dropped that in today. Replaced the pinion seal white I had it apart.

    Partially me lol. I’m waiting on the rear sump pan to put the motor where I want it. Needs to drop a couple inches and go back some to clear the front diff.

    I heard it’s being shipped so I can make final marks on it and can be notched/ final welded.

    That and the wiring harness has a bit of a lead time to be made. I also need to strip/ clean the motor to put new gaskets and accessories on it, but that can be done at anytime.

    I’m hoping in the next couple months I can finally fire it up.
