I think i missed the deadline. Shucks i wanted some new decals.

 

What are we counting as mods? I'm guessing I am around 9g not incl. the motor incident. But lookeI never have really looked or kept track of how much I spent on vehicles for the reason that I get enjoyment out of modding and using them. If I kept a close eye on the money then I wouldn't be as prone to spend on them.

 

It's all those little ticket items that really add up and push the mod price up without you really noticing.

This pertains to sliders.
Which is better bolt on or weld on?
How about kickout or no kick out?
Angle them up or leave level?

I habe not heard from the ins company yet but i got alot of steel in the garage to box the frame and make sliders.

 

Questions to help answer your questions

How much wheeling will you do?
Do you need to use them as more of a step?

As far as bolt on vs weld on. The way companies make their bolt ons can/are just as strong if not stronger than weld on. Secondly the large plates that bolt ons use distribute the impacts more evenly across the frame compared to the smaller weld on plates.

 

I go wheeling every chance i get, but more mud n dirt here. Planning about going west to try and actualy finish the white rim trail. Than future plans of going east for some trails. Not much here for trails, so gota travel.

 

Ha ha yeah been busting them out. I have TONS more video ideas so I figured I needed to up the production a bit so I can attempt to get to them all in a timely manner ... plus I still have a bunch of footage to compile for offroading vids too ... but those never seem to snag as many views as just talking vids.
