Nice nice! Not sure if you have any seat covers in yours yet, but I just threw in some wet okoles in mine and man they add some nice padding to the seats. If I had to compare the feeling its similar to throwing a thin topper on top of a bed. You could get some orange and black seat covers to really lock in the look.

I was shopping around for some seat covers but those things are pricey ... so I figured what the hell and started looking at something like this:

Def cool, although Im not sure how comfortable or annoying they might be to get in and out of. Might be worth seeing if you can get a demo somewhere. I have contemplated getting 5 point harness seats, but many of my west coast buddies have said its a pain in the ass getting in and out of the truck as you cant just slide out anymore.

Yeah I would never buy seats like that without having tested them out in person first ... which is sort of tricky. I'd like to get something that is compatible with the regular seatbelts too.

I ordered some red welt chord on Amazon Prime for $8.39 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XD27CM5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used it on the door panels of our Corvette. It worked great and looks extremely good. I will post pictures tomorrow of the Corvette. I tried a little of the leftovers on the doors of the Tacoma with no luck. I can't wait to see your Tacoma when you get a chance to do yours.

I was going to just put it around the armrest padding (factory) and I couldn't get it to go in. I didn't have enough left to do it all and it was dark outside so I didn't put out the most effort.

I've got the rear wheels off of the Corvette to get new tires mounted tomorrow. The lift is lowered too low to get the wife's RAV4 under it because she thinks that if something happens it will crush her RAV. So there's no room in the garage for the Tacoma until tomorrow. This is also the reason why I don't really want to open and close doors to take pictures with it up on jack stands.

Sorry, to answer your question the welt chord that I bought is dimensionally the same as the $11.99 roll you bought, at least according to the picture that says the welt is 1/16" and the tail is 1/4" they are the same dimensionally.

I'll do a test piece this weekend and see how it fits for the Tacoma trim pieces.

Ouch! I've almost did that a few times with socket wrenches or screwdrivers.

I noticed on your recent video about the magnet trays, (great vid btw, as a mechanic by trade, those are priceless) that you seem to have what looks like red fan shrouds. Are those strictly aesthetic (cause they look cool hell)? Or do they serve a purpose?
