Hello everyone, I am fairly new to the forum. I am planing on keeping my Tacoma a daily driver/weekend romper. For those of you on Instagram I can be found at @TacomaMike25

    Lets Begin!

Purcahsed the truck off my brother last year. He had installed the following:

    -Level 8 wheels 16x8 with 265/75r16
-Bilstien 5100 Front and Rear. Front set at 1.80
    -Rear has a 1.5 AAL

I had installed supereme suspnsion 1.5 inch spacers all around but ended up removing them due to the increase shake in he steering wheel at highway speeds.

I also installed the n-fab nerf bars

I plan on purchasing the following:

-Gator Tri-Fold tonneau cover with a rubber bed mat.
-Plano sportsman tub for my road side emergency kit.
    -Center console safe
    -RCI skid plates
-Souhern Style front bumper w/o winch and w/bull bar.

I am still looking around for rear bumpers if you hav any suggestions please feel free to comment.

Some phots of the truck so far...6209AE79-452C-4A5E-BDFD-8AE7698A21B0.jpg

And yes, I take my truck to the beach on the weekends in the beach on the weekends!

Finally got the Gator Tri-Fold. Picked it up from RealTruck.com on sale for $239.99 total cost was $254 after sales tax.

    **UPDATE**

Speakers are installed! Had to pick up a set of new tires, front driver side was leaking. Ented up replacing the whole set for $580. Went with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 265/75r16. I ended up keeping the 3 General Grabbers AT2 I will either sell them or keep them for the stockies.

Also picked up a Plano Sportsman tub at dicks for $39.99 plus tax. Added 4 locks to it and will post a pic once it is secured to the bed. Was looking to freeup some space in my access cab. Added some essential road side emergency items/tools and a bail out bag. Be advised this does not come with a weather strip. I used some standard weather seal from home depot for $6 and ended up cutting it in half to allow the lid to close and clamp shut.

Past weekend I was in the Poconos. Took the tacoma off road and explored the area.

Installed Caliraised ditch light kit...boy are they bright!

Only issue I had was getting the nuts on the U bracket tight, i tried multiple wrenches and needle nose plyers. The space it too small to fit a wrench or needle nose into. I had to forcefully insert a multi tool I had to hold the nut in place.

I thought Caliraised hood brackets were slotted? If not wouldn't you have to take both hood bolts at each location at the same time risking the hood to shift?
    Thank You.

@Ruger Inferno you have to unbolt one bolt at a time and slide the bracket in place. Its not hard to do and my hood gap is fine. They have a vid on youtube its a super easy install.

Spend 3 hours today in NJ at Wharton State Forest! Place was a blast. Trails were perfect for my tacoma...my brothers ram on the other hand was a challange.

It has been awhile since I last posted...I did pick up some seat covers for the driver/passanger seat.

After a few weeks of research I came across the CalTrend SportTex Poly-Cotten seat covers. I paid $174.99 shipped from AutoAnything.com.

    First Impressions:

Please with the speed of process/shipping from AutoAnything. Package arrived withing a few days intact with no damage

    Unboxing:

They came wrapped and with the following:
-Driver seat cover (1) Top, (1) Bottom
-Passanger seat cover (1) Top, (1) Bottom
    -(2) Headrest Covers in Black

    Install:

Install took about 45 minutes. Each fit pretty tight and conform to the seats curves near perfect. The stiching is consistent through out the covers.

The back of the covers come with built in magazine pouch and they also came with a duster.

    Final Impressions

I never had seat covers in any vehicle I owned. For my first set I am impressed with the quality, fit and material. I would give them an 8/10. Only thing I would like to see is the velcro on the passanger seat be more precise and fit a little better.
