    Look at build!

I was gonna say something about there maybe being a difference with north and south but no mine werent fused to it and i actually sold the lift shackles and put the stock ones back on so ive had them on and off about 3-4 times between my truck and a buddies...but i did bend up one of my stock ones in the process of removal.

I wish it was that easy when I took mine off, we didn't even completely take the shackles off when I swapped out the stock leaf springs for my Dakar pack. Like a year later I finally put on the 1" lift shackles. Yeah my stock shackles are not straight anymore since I took them off lol.

i bought some $10 aux speakers at radio shack that dont need a power source. they just use the 3.5mm jack and thats all.'

i was going to extend the length of the cord and run a wire longer under my seat cover so they could reach up inside my headrest.

anyways, i havent done a lot of audio work and thought i could just use some wire i had layin around in my toolbox.

how do i go about extending audio wire?

I had to extend my wire, its pretty simple really and inside its just like a coax. One wire is ground(Wound in cross hatch pattern) and the other is power(middle/copper)...Unless im just completely lost on what your trying to do but i have had to extend coax before as well as a 3.5mm aux wire and they are both pretty identicle

the wire for the speakers are the same gauge as headphone wire. so i found some crappy headphones and used that wire to extend it. I separated the ground and the copper and made a connection but it still didnt work. at that point it was like 3am and threw the speakers in the trash...

probably not the best decision but ill try it again this week and find cool my jets while doing it. i get frustrated when working with wires.

    thanks for the response chad
