    im also unsure on how well the paint would adhese to the chrome even if it is sanded down.

    I did my street locks, use a 3m scuff pad and some water, then I just cleaned them up and hit them with 3 coats of black paint. holding up great!

    the only chip is from the stupid tire shop :smack:
    yup, got mine from home depot, used 2 of them to do all 4 street locks.
    keep the wheel wet and scrub them clean!

    but they are holding up very well, Krylon fusion satin black I believe.
