I voted it's stupid, though I bought 15btc and forgot about them. Bought @ $14, sold at $7230, but that was before the big run up. I cashed out early.

I know a idiot that bought in on the down turn at 17k... needless to say hes stuck with it lol. I think there will be an investigation at some point on the artificial inflation and how a select few got super rich and it will crash Bitcoin. Just my 2 cents.

Really the only reason to have crypto is so that people cant track your money, aka you got a large sum of money in some kind of shady way or trying to avoid paying taxes. Otherwise we already have cryto... its called credit cards lol.

Also, with the value being so volatile, other than for shady business dealings why would an average joe use this to purchase anything when the value can double or triple over night. Purely a speculative investment in my eyes, no real value as a currency unless it levels out completely at a certain dollar value.

Bitcoin is a farce. Just because its 'value' rises and falls does not mean anything. If you have money to invest, buy something that has legitimate value.

I like bitcoin. It's not the future, but it's a good way to conduct business not sanctioned by government. At it's best it allows you to get into an interesting hobby and spend the money you've accrued on actual goods. At worst it's what's demanded of you when your computer gets ransomware'd.

It's like a new frontier and I'm okay with it. That being said I only sell my labor for actually currency and have never owned any form of cryptocurrency. Dogecoin would be my first purchase for the lolz though.

Think of your Taco more as a hobby, not an investment.
