Tacomas being held up at Mexican border

Anyone else have their brand new 2023 Tacoma stick at the Mexican port of entry and not be allowed to be shipped into the country? My new sr5 was built on august 2nd. Dealership finally called corporate when it has not yet arrived. Corporate told dealership that 14,000 tacomas were stuck at the port of entry coming into the country due to “lack or personnel”. The corporate estimate is it could be another 6 to 8 weeks before they move. So sad especially since the order was placed in April! Anyone else finding same delay?

 

All I can say is try and be patient or cancel your order!

Maybe "lack of personnel" is another way of letting the Mexican Government know that the recently displayed piece of the Berlin Wall was not well received?
