Of course but not every used 3rd gen you see on the lot was traded due to problems with the truck as you may have insinuated.

Might even be a few rentals or demos on the lots too. I looked at 4 rental / program 15s when I was shopping for a new truck.

And how many youngsters bought Tacomas on impulse only to find out after the list settles that they are now broke?

I get a lot of hunting gear from 20-somethings that get too deep to soon, lol.

Agree with you. Didn't pretend to know why the individual was trading his Tacoma today. Although he must be wanting to get rid of it for some reason. Obviously something about it isn't making him happy or it isn't suiting his needs for some reason or another.

Makes my 2nd gen more valuable, I've owned it 3.5 years and haven't lost any value even with downgrading the condition a bit for the trail rash. Now it's a collector's truck, single cab manual transmission.
 standing by for more posts.

Maybe he's an impulse buyer and didn't research his needs properly. Not the truck's fault.

Why are people trading them in? I recently conducted a study. 90% of them were ecstatic about their new Tacos and thought they were the best thing ever. Then they read this form and were convinced otherwise.

In my area there are several 16's on used car lots, which typically never have Tacomas. Typically the only place I've previously seen late model Tacomas for sale was at Toyota dealerships. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

No its quite apparent when someone posts all day long all week they have other i
No, when someone comes in here with biased posts constantly all day all week and meaningless, it appears they have a motive. Seems like they are being paid. There are no large widespread issues with this truck, just a lot of big freakin whiners or people being paid to blast the product. Internet is a big whiner machine sometimes, and this is a pure example.
There is no truth to most of this crap on here as it is anyways. Someone is always going to have an issue with a vehicle, doesn't mean the entire world does. Differential ratio??? Big waste of time.

When I got my '16, there was a line of '14s and '15s in the used car lineup. When I went by the other day I saw they still had a few '15s and a '16.
