You guys should give Smitty a break. You do realize that critical thinking in the engineering world is what made the Taco as good as it is. You should be thankful for his observations and hope that Toyota hires people like him. If he were on the design team it's highly likely that these issues would've been caught in development. You guys need to wise up. Just saying.

 

If Trump could bite his tongue as well as Smitty does with all the shit you guys throw at him he would have this Presidency in the bag. Smitty for President!!

 

I do have a dog in the hunt . I am looking for my retirement Tacoma what I am having trouble understanding is how so many problems could have slipped under QC eyes before the release of this new truck . I sure didn't join TW to just learn the good changes " my last Tacoma was a 96 " I wanted to be informed as to what to expect . ALL reviews have merit .

On car guru , 200 miles of 74701 area code the are " 83 " ! 2016 Tacomas for sale . All used . That's a lot fellas .

I dont mean to rub anyone in any way . This is just what I am seeing and It kinda bothers me . Nobody beats the Toyota drum more than myself . Corolas ,highlander , Tacoma , camrey , 4 runner . I'm am not a hater trust me .

Something isn't right with this trucks release . I think we all should want to know all we can before , during and after our purchase .

I find value in all the reviews and thank all who post good or bad .

I would rather wrestle a gorilla than NOT get a new Tacoma , I have so many Toyota hats ! LOL

TW is a dand good site and I am glad I found it and its honest members , good or bad .

I haven't seen a lot of tongue biting. Quite the opposite. I think most folks who come here know by now he doesn't like his truck.

 

I made that mistake back in the 80's on the Vortec V6. Sold that POS and got the V8. Nothing like a Chevy short bed with a nice V8.

 

I to got sent to my corner for a time out recently.

 

And there are 88 Ridgelines using your criteria on car guru with that zip and radius. And Tacos only 83 LOL ! That's a lot fellas considering Ridgeline sell at a fraction of a number of Tacos.
