also towed my old car-b-q out of the woods. was a mother... glazed my clutch a bit because my front diff actuator was acting up and I couldn't get it into 4low up hill through a gate. took all day but towed it well.

Yukon and even more recently a 1500 Denali that had the same issue as the Yukon, except it's frozen lifter gernaded the valve. I've also flat towed a 1st gen 3500 that gernaded it's transfercase, that one was fun having to coordinate braking and starting off.

Manual on 34" tires as well with an extra ~600lbs in the bed between the drawer system and tools. Bit interesting running it through the powerband, but it will go. Definitely interesting in that intake runner spacer mod more and more.

Hot damn. My truck is also a manual, but it’s stock except for 1” up tires. It is interesting having to rev this truck up to make it go.

Have you looked into getting a tune? May wake the engine up a bit on the lower end

Yeah, It is tuned, also ECU was updated to latest version at dealership as well. Do the ECU update first, fixes the ACIS dip a bit. If you do the ECU update, price ranges between free if you try to get it via TSB to $200 if you can't wait a day or two, depends on dealership.

We just completed a 1,000 mile round trip between the DC area and the Cape Fear area pulling a moderately loaded 4x8 U-Haul and (mostly) traveling at or just above the posted speed limits (ranging from 55 to 70 mph); my bone stock 2022 TRD Sport DCSB 6MT averaged 18.1 mpg; I was quite pleased with that number. In 10-days we'll be embarking on a 1,250 mile trip to take much of our son's stuff down to him in Miami; I haven't decided whether to try and cram all of his stuff into a 5x8 trailer or spend the extra $100 for the 6x12 tandem axle trailer (with brakes). Stay tuned for the results. :)

I can fit 8 mini bales in my short bed and still be able to close the topper window hatch gate thing. if I play enough Tetris I should be well trained enough. bet I could fit two more if I really wanted to...
