Similar to the Tundra. We've debated endlessly on whether that means to be in S4 all the time or only when going downhill.

The moral of the story: the manual says, "do not use the transmission in D, use ECT and S5 (or lower) for towing".

Winter prep for work, patio tiles, sand bags, tools, recovery gear, chains, siped Duatracs, 12 psi in the airbags.

Hilariously, asked at the local auto parts store about a new set of bungees for the chains. $45 for two chain specific bungee, $12 for six regular bungees.

Doesn't really count as "work" per say, but my wheel barrow is too small and I didn't feel like making a dozen trips to the burn pile. This was last weekend...

Kinda strange but I love loading up the back with 'junk' to take to the 'dump' - we have big-ole-bins for recycling and whatnot nearby and
I make weekly runs down there to drop off boxes and yard-stuff and this and that. It's next to a huge open area where the Rez starts and there
are hawks and foxes and coyotes and rattlers so I always carry the camera... today I saw this guy.

nothing wrong with decluttering and getting rid of stuff you don’t use. I try to wait until I have a truck load of crap since it’s about $28 bucks each trip for me.

Forgot to post this, but did some e-waste recycling for the seasonal job. This was the second and smaller load for the day. The debate on switching to an access cab rages on…

Love my access cab. 95% of the time I'm the only one in it, which is glorious... another 4% the wife is with me, and the final 1% would mean my daughter or dog in the back seat. Wouldn't have it any other way. The extra bed length is worth it... and I look good in it too which is all that really matters.>!

The real debate I’m having is if I want to deal with the hassle of getting a new truck right now. The trucks been useful so far but I’d benefit from the longer bed. No need to worry about babies/fur babies as we have two cars for daily duties. But, I digress. I don’t wanna get this thread off topic

So I picked up 1/2 yard of mulch to fill in the first half of a raised garden bed.
Will pick up another 1/2 yard or so of some high-end garden soil.

Wife has 3 of these bins setup already with auto-irrigation - we got all manner of stuff coming up now and after seeing what
happened last summer we'll never have to go to the store again - everything we eat will be 'locally grown' LOL...
