We move our share of weight around. After overloading the truck hundreds of times I finally bought a trailer. :woot:

We estimated 3600-3800lbs of oak in the trailer. Weigh Safe said 600lbs tongue weight after some settling. A little squat but never felt bumpstops even over railroad tracks. Airbags on my list (for the last 5 years). Not really sure why so many people complain about Tacomas towing. Didn't feel much different than my 5.7 Tundra with 10k behind it. Pulled similar rpm, too.

Okay, okay, if it’s too lame, let me know. But I was mildly impressed at what a good furniture hauler this thing turned out to be. We got the couch and chairs inside just before a snowstorm.

Lumber & concrete for a backyard fence rebuild. Dinky 4x8' trailer is very handy because it fits anywhere and it's easy to move around by hand when empty & disconnected.

It was strictly in-town on level streets sub-30 mph. Obviously the 1 strap on there isn't enough to take that load on the freeway.

Little clean up at the job site today. Getting the road master active suspension later today to hopefully help with the heavy loads and a bit of rear lift :benchpress:

I lost two of my photinia bushes over the winter. They were just shy of 8 feet tall.

Used the strap-over-the-spare technique to pull them out. A neighbor ran over to help, but really he wanted to watch what the hell it was I was doing. It ripped those root balls like they were nothing. :muscleflexing:

Replacement shrubs in truck. It'll only be another 5-10 years before they're back to their former glory.

It’s me again. We had a break between snow storms last week and predicted ones next week. In the meantime, it was time to get started on gardening. Here’s the Tacoma getting filled up for a dump run. In addition to the dirt and branches, we cut back all of our many rose bushes significantly and added that to the load.
