Man seeing all these pictures I want to hurry moving to country. I feel so useless having a truck capable of offroading in NJ xD

Selling a rental I've had for 12 years. The 6' bed came in use... hauled away a freezer (I was just able to close the tailgate), plus a table and chairs.

Brought home a free swingset playset that was going to get burned. Still need to finish it up but my little guy is loving it.

I've seen too many loads around town with little to no tie-downs. I'm not risking losing anything.

Wise man, too many people underestimate what's needed to secure a load properly.

i was moving some 2x4s and deck trex stuff with my dad in his tundra.

we only used bungies because thats what he had in his truck. more than half the deck trex stuff fell out at a light. oops. lol.

home depot was not even a mile from my house, but it still fell out. luckily no one was around.

Real life lessons are the best teachers.

Safety 1st at all times, for yourself and others on the road. That's the best reason to verify a load is secured properly prior to transport.

First track day trip of the 2023 Season is in the book -- my Tacoma towed from Chicago to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, then to National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park, then back home in Chicago -- all done in 88 hours, adding another 1,150 miles of towing (from last year's 5,200 miles) and two more trips coming this year (to Watkins Glen and Pittsburgh Race Complex, and to Road Atlanta)

Also ran into another track fellow who also used Tacoma as their towing vehicle of choice - his was an automatic getting 14 mpg. Mine is a manual, averaging 16 mpg for the whole towing distance.

Here are two hot laps around Mid-Ohio and NCM

how far did you drive with the back window up like that?

i thought one of the benefits of the GFC was the sides and back were easy to take off and put back on.

Ended up helping a buddy pick up an '89 Comanche this past Sunday. Had to use the good ole Tacoma to haul it around, of course.
