Yup. Firewood season is upon us….. Got eight cords of stacked wood to squirrel into the basement. This is the first of many…

8? Good god that's a lot of wood! The load of locust I got today was fresh cut and wont be burned until next season. Probably going to get one more load next weekend and I'll be good to go. This is one truckload stacked.

You've not had an issue bringing bugs into the basement with the wood? I leave all mine stacked outside and bring it in by the wheelbarrow load.

She might not have a crane or bucket attached. But make no mistake this truck "works"... she grabs drill bits, flex cable, electrical connectors, cheeseburgers and coffee on demand. A definite "work truck". If only my crew could all drive MT... but that's another sub category

Scored a bunch of wood from my neighbors next store. They are having big ol Doug Fur, Oak and Maple trees taken down and offered it up. I was able to throw a bunch of rounds over the fence, Now the truck loads! Truck was really loaded down! A bunch more loads to do, Putting in the work.

    LOL, awesome.
This is the only legitimate type of mall / bigbox crawl for a taco.

Hi all, At it again today getting more free wood right off Hwy 9 adding to the pile! This just started yesterday! I bucked up a bunch of Oak and Maple offered up by Caltrans or SC County in nice big dirt pull outs for the taking.

Pic was taken 4 years ago when in had my first gen tacoma. I salvaged some hand hewn beams out of a almost 200 year old barn in PA. The cows were real interested in what inwas doing. That little 4 cyl hauled a lot of wood for me! Miss that truck so much.

Put my 'new to me' 2015 TRD to work today. Had to drive through a wet field of tall grass to reach some walnut and oak slabs I cut last year. It was a beautiful day on my buddies farm today.

I had an '05 Tundra (since '06) that I used to haul quite a bit of firewood with before I bought my tractor. I traded that in when I bought my '23 Tacoma. How do the beds on the Tacoma's hold up to firewood loading? How careful are you guys with the bigger chunks? I had the bed on my Tundra Rhino lined and it stood up pretty well to me not being very gentle loading it up.
