It is...so far. That's the plan...too bad there is a national shortage and I am trying to get a DCLB.

They say when it rains it pours.

Bide your time. The right truck is worth the wait.

Although if you stumble across a 6MT in your search, that one gets my vote

Sad day seeing your truck get hauled away. Hope you find your new truck soon. And hopefully you are able to salvage some stuff off it too.

I was happy from a safety standpoint. I am gutted from an owner's perspective. I just finished my racks, bumper, winch, bed system....now I have to F around with the insurance about value of truck and value of aftermarket and talk about service fees and blah blah...all the while Tacomas are thinning out at all dealorships.

But, I am alive and wasn't upside down on the lein, so there is plenty to be positive.

Thanks for the hope. I'll be posting pics I am sure when I have to do all my mods over, lol.

Yeah these prices are insane. 30k is too much for a second gen imo. How many miles?

Learn something new every day. Probably would have gone with that myself if the 3rd Gen had the option.

I would have gone for the 6’ box if the OR came in a DCLB.

The 2016+ OR does come in DCLB.

Yeah you can get an OR DCLB, just not with the 6MT. If they had that available I'd probably have gone with it as well.

I should have clarified. I meant in a 2nd gen. I dislike the 3rd gen.

I tested a couple 3rd gens and I couldn't do it. Just too sluggish and to many bells and whistles. Coming from a 15 subaru fully loaded, I was looking for something more simple and easy to work on. LOVE my 2nd Gen! :mudding:
I do wish I got a DCLB though I dont think the wheel base would have bothered me as much as I thought it would.
