I’ve got 255/85/16 Cooper ST Maxx for my summer set and they fit with no issues on my stock 17 Pro

That’s the size I wanted to switch to, but little in true ATs... like none. I’ll likely bump to 17’s for my next set and get skinny 33s.

I like them but you’re right, not a lot of choices. When the Blizzaks run down and I get the Hakkas next, I’ll try them in 285. The Blizzaks are 265/75/16

Ya it's sad. The Toyo M-55 is the only tall skinny 33 I know of that is not a M/T. The selection of skinny 35's is even smaller.

I've had good luck at Walser in the past, though I wouldn't trust any dealer to work on my truck unless it's for free.
Dealerships are usually luck of the draw on who you get to work on your vehicle.

Haven’t been to either but can say Rudy Luther in Golden Valley is a good shop.

    What’s a warranty checkup?

    Here are my walser stories
Steering wheel not straight at like 3000 miles, take it in and say the steering wheel is not straight, alignment is fine. Service writer changes it the truck pulls to the right.... tech says confirm pull, align truck.... I said the truck doesnt pull, why did you change it? then not even make the steering wheel straight?
5k service, asked for oil change, tire rotate. - advisor takes off oil change without asking me, I tell him I want an oil change, he argues with me about it. I get truck back, its leaking oil.
10k service, oil rotate, they cross thread my skid plate bolts, I bring it back and they just pound them in with the impact gun... still fucked.
Go in for rust forming on door striker (the stainless steel part) manager says I must of spilled something on them that only caused damage to the weld part of the latch and no damage to the paint... says he will email toyota, never hear from him again.
Go to parts department to get plug for under cab, I hand them the plug (it has a part number on it) they keep telling me thats not a part number and proceed to keep having to order plugs untill they can figure out the right one, finally I get a parts guy who just ordered the part number thats on the part and its the right part.

Interesting. They are the only one I’ll let touch my truck. Never an argument, and even set alignment you my specs without issue.

I guess if I had those experiences I wouldn't go there. I had good luck with my wife's Prius getting warranty work there and my brother has had a couple recalls done on his Toyota's there with no issues.
I never trust any dealer to do an oil change or tire rotation no matter if it's free or not.

My old suburban a dealer put on the wrong oil filter and on the drive home the truck dumped all the oil. I've had stripped lug nuts and cracked center caps from stupid dealers.

I only work with burnsville toyota now, they are 100% better than walser

@1:05 (tech too stupid to realize a oil covered floor is going to cause a pickup not be able to get up a ramp from a stop)
Floors it to get up to speed (this is a test drive for the steering wheel thats not straight mind you, not a drivability issue)

Oh and I almost forgot, they stained my driver seat with oil first visit, second visit they hooked the stitching and pulled it out with a screw driver in his pocket.

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am right south of St. Paul. I own a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road and before that a 2013 SR5 that was lifted with 33's. I have only taken my new Taco up to Outing MN to go deer hunting a few times this last November and did a little moderate off-roading with the wife while we were up at our family cabin near Beaver Bay/Silver Bay this last Summer a couple of times. Can't wait till this Spring so I can go find some new areas to explore. I am currently running 265/75/16 BFG KO2's and just got some Fuel BLITZ wheels installed. Still trying to decide what lift kit I should go with.

Yikes. I bought both my Taco’s from Walser in Bloomington and have had all good experiences with them, albeit I’ve never had anything done there beyond the Toyota maintenance package. They are right next to my work pre-covid, so very convenient for me.

For more major stuff I have relied on Lancer Auto which is 2 blocks from where I live. They’ve always done me right with one exception when I asked them to mount/balance my 33” e-load mud terrains and align my truck after a lift and it took them 5 hours and 4-5 phone calls to get it done. The second time I needed an alignment I went to Zeus Off-road in Burnsville and they had they barely broke a sweat.
