Yeah but I didn't even know how to do my tonneau cover and had to get help for that. Not even going to attempt to do-it-myself on this one.

I do almost all my work myself but some of the guys here have used Zeus off road. Then theres a place in Ham Lake I have seen adds for 4 wheel parts and Service. I dont know anything about them though

Great thanks, I'll check them out.

And I wish I knew how to do this kind of thing, I just don't. My hands-on skill set is more in PC/Tech.

I live not far from that Ham Lake place! There's also another 4x4 place just a mile south of there, also on 65, named TGK (they just changed their name in this past year or so, previously it was Hooze 4x4 I think). If you go to either of them or even get a quote, let me know what you find out! I might end up doing the same thing eventually, getting a small lift and upgraded leaf pack to help with towing. Not sure what they use for parts or if I can buy my own from Headstrong or elsewhere on here and just have them install, but would be good to know.

I'm an IT guy also, so I can do smaller stuff on my truck, but "bigger" work like that is not my forte either.

Lots of IT guys in here (myself included). Outside of work, i try to avoid tech lol i figured this mechanical stuff cant be that hard and nearly everything is online these days so I slowly started building up doing more and more stuff myself. Plus it gives me something to do.

Obviously not for everyone and there’s still some stuff I’d rather have a shop do than try to tackle myself either due to time or difficulty.

I also like to game, so even on my time off it's usually into some sort of tech. Also I bought a house that had/has a lot of smaller project type stuff that I can do so free time and weekends are gaming/working on house stuff/chasing the dogs around the backyard.

I'll let you know, I'm doing that same type of lift on mine - 2" in front then 1-1.5" in the back. Getting the Eibach Pro kit from Headstrong once they come back in stock. I'll post back here with what I did, where I went to and how much they charged.

I don't have a garage so I did my suspension in my buddy's driveway 40 miles from where I live. I'm an IT guy too, but I used to do a lot of mechanical stuff in my youth. It's my first time doing a truck suspension though. I took a lot of inspiration from people on this site and my buddy who has every tool on the planet and far too many unfinished projects.

I had my post-lift alignment done at zeus off-road in Burnsville. They seemed competent.

It’s amazing how few folks know about 4WheelParts. They are like the autozone/pepboys for 4x4 stuff on the west coast... literally everywhere. They opened in the TC when the company was bought by Polaris a few years ago... I think it’s for the suits to get their brodozer on.

If you can change your oil you can do your rear leaf springs. Front springs, if you get the shocks/springs assembled are bolt in. You can do it without popping ball-joints if you are clever. If you have to swap springs off your shocks, then you need to be with someone that knows what they are doing.

I'm back. Nothing was fixed but a software update. I was received the famous TSB0043-20

Dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong with the Truck

The truck itself feels different in throttle response and shifting feels more "nicer" but I can still feel that damn drag

It's there in the high speed. You can't really feel it but it's there

I plan on flushing the differential and tranny fluid. Debating on replacing my front brakes and drum shoes/pads depending how they look like once removed or maybe just bleed the brake system

Have you ever seen those DIY cover videos where they use Ramen noodle to patch and buff then seal? Yeah that's how I feel about this Truck

I might just wait after flushing the fluids and see how it goes then call Toyota if it doesn't get resolved

That’s a tough call. From your other thread it sure sounds like it could be a partially burnt out clutch but it’s weird you’re only feeling it at high speeds.
