When is it going down? Idk if my truck will be fixed by then but I'm def pushing to get it done and painted before even if it's not completely painted and just new parts on it I'll probably try to make it....

You have issues with paint sticking to your sliders bob... I seen mines been flaking off in some spots so I'm gonna be cutting them off and sandblasting the same time I do my front and rear bumpers then linex them all

May 16 is our open house this year.

I haven't had any problems with the sliders. I sanded them before painting, then used 3-4 coats of primer with about 2-3 coats of black paint. I set my timer so that I applied a coat every 30 minutes until all the painting was done. Since the paint was tacky but not cured between coats, each successive layer of paint stuck (fused, combined, whatever) so when complete, I had one layer of paint (if that makes sense).

I wouldn't linex sliders. Linex is anti slide. Sliders are pro slide. Not a good combo.

Does anyone have a preference of a shop that sells used tires for cheap? I separated a belt on my car and I don't need any special tires since I'm going to sell it. I'm going to buy 2 though. 205/65r15.

Anyone down for a meet up in the cities somewhere? I get there every few weekends and would be down to meet a couple people from here. Have to look around at maybe some event going on or it can even just be a meet up at an eating establishment or something? Could even invite out the T4R guys too

I'm a couple hours from the cities myself, but I just feel that we would have a better turnout if we did a meet up there.

Well if we want to do a meet up at someone's house I am down with that. If you've got a grill I can go in with a couple people and buy some stuff to grill and BYOB. I don't have anything I need wrenched on at the moment, but I can bring with me a set of hands and a little experience anyway. Or we could also meet up for "lunch" and then go to whomever's place and people can go when they are ready. We gotta do something though. This weather is finally turning the corner and I finally have been getting a weekend off here and there.

    Hey guys...

Just found this MN subforum and thought I would drop a line. Just got my new truck delivered earlier this week, and thanks to the last two years lurking on this forum my wallet is starting to hate me. Picked up a 215 DCLB 4WD Sport w/ tow Magnetic Grey.

I forgot to take a picture before my first mod (35% tint on front windows).

So far I have husky mats ordered, mirror relocate bracket, new gentex mirror, different headlights, and black badges.

Not planning on anything too crazy as I want it to look somewhat stock. Would like to get a topper, sliders, 2.5 - 3" lift, beadlock rims w/ bfg ko tires, roof rack.

On a side note, anyone know of a good auto painter? Not a huge job but I was looking to add color matched window visors.
