Was anyone else successful at getting stuck last night? I found a good challenging steep grade on a paved alley that the taco could not climb in 4lo with the rear locker engaged on the stock A/Ts. I had to back down and hit it with speed. 21" of snow reported near me

We were able to make it home shortly after the snow started, Just finished plowing the driveway(11:45), I used the daughter's 3/4 ton chev diesel, lots of weight makes it hook up good! This snow stuff isn't so bad if you don't need to be out on the roads, timing was good for me this time around.
Add about #500 of sand bags in your tacoma should make it hook up better.

Fully winter up north. Learning how to drive off the beaten path this winter. So far the Tacoma has done very well.

Ya it was a weird snow storm. There was a very narrow band that got dumped on a few miles from me.

In case anyone is looking or have friends who are, this was my Tacoma: https://www.superiorford.com/used-plymouth-2018-Toyota-Tacoma-TRD+Off+Road-3TMCZ5AN6JM127103

I didn't go into the dealership intending to trade it in, but I did. It was only supposed to be a swap of our old Expedition family vehicle for a new(er) one. But they had a Bronco and decisions were made. I have all the stock bits for the truck except the fender flares. Things that were done to this one:
    - N2 Designs Remote start with lock/unlock
    - Headstrong AAL in the rear
    - 4.88 Yukon gears
    - Ovtuned (KDMax)
    - Gibson cat-back exhaust
    - TRD intake and skid plate
    - Meso bits all over
    - Replaced stock JBL speakers with after-market JBL's
    Etc...

If this info should go somewhere else or not allowed to be stated here because its too close to a BST post, my apologies. Just trying to get some awareness to a great truck that deserved better than to be traded in. But I've been tracking the Broncos since they were announced and my wife and I couldn't help ourselves.

Well, since I don't have a Tacoma anymore, I guess I shouldn't be so worried about being run out of here and tarred and feathered by talking about it. It's a 2021 4-door, Badlands with the 2.7l v6 and 10-speed auto. All the bells & whistles, "Lux" package, covered in Antimatter Blue. I wasn't a blue fan, even with the Taco's, but this I really like. It has orange accents on the interior. Significantly more headroom, a couple extra inches in foot/leg-room for our 3 boys (ages 7, 5, 3) in the back, and identical in side-to-side space so it fits 2 booster seats + 1 harness seat for our youngest. I'll miss having the bed of the Tacoma and the availability of aftermarket accessories, but I have a 6x12 trailer so I'm not out too much. Really hope the Tacoma goes to a good home.

Edit: Added pics for the "pics or it didn't happen" crowd:

Tarred and feathered haha not for a Bronco. That sounds like a great spec. You’ll have to let us know what it’s like long term especially in the winter fun

Shoot we only got like 4 inches in the north. I live in Coon Rapids and work in Anoka and it snowed for a good while but it was all really small and light.

3 hours on a Sunday morning to change an alternator at a rest area near Roger's. A big shout out to napa automotive in rogers for delivering an alternator and battery sunday morning. Late but made it to the family for Christmas in coon rapids.

Good morning, Glad you got it fixed up and that you were able to get off the highway! I was talking to my brother yesterday and his old Lincoln blew a spark plug out of the cylinder head as he was leaving work. He was able to get a spark plug helicoil and repair in the parking lot. things happen when we really want to get some where!

I’m sure this is a long shot… but anyone have these black SR5 wheels and want to swap for these TRD Off Road wheels? The OR wheels have 2k miles on them. Perfect condition.
