Tacomas in Minnesota?

I have tools and know how. I can do pretty much anything. just don't have a great space to work on stuff and tend to break bolts. Does your garage have a big enough breaker for a welder?

 

I just saw on that other thread you have an Alltrac also? Details please assuming its a Celica Alltrac?

 

Yeah the breaker holds for my welder, it holds for my big compressor, but pops when its cold out.

Damn! 185, I actually have 2 a '90 and '92 but the 90 was a parts car so its rusted and missing half of the engine.

 

Buddy had a blue one in the late 90s. Fantastic car. I love that era of JDM.

Loads. Right now its not running. It hasn't for years. Main issue I have is I kept blowing off the charge pipe so I need to get that either welded or stronger clamps. Its got a Autronic ECU, T3T4, front mount intercooler, injectors, turbo back exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff. Id like to get it running again this year if I can find the funds for it.

Wow, haven't been around here in a while. How is everyone doing?

 

been busy here. Between new kids and new jobs the rollercoaster never ends.

 

Hoping the never ending winter ends soon. Won't be golfing in the northern part of the state until May at this rate. Can't wait to detail the truck in the warm sun either.

 

PREACH. I've got like 15 little and not-so-little truck projects I want to work on and none of it is happening until spring.

Anybody find an elusive heated garage for our CMC day?

 

Yeah I have a huge list of crap to get done on the truck once it stops snowing and gets above 40 for more then a couple hours. Was tempted to do some stuff on Saturday but house chores took up most of the day. I keep adding more to the list before I can check anything off. I think I'm over 20 at this point but last I checked at least 10 will tale 10 mins or less to do.

 

What are you guys using to spray on high-end suspension components in the winter to prevent rust? For example, I have Fox 2.5s with steel bodies, and I want to make sure the road salt doesnt kill them.

 

I get my truck Krown coated each year out East and that’s held off the rust. Couple guys that do it themselves use Fluid Film or Woolwax and have had good luck.

 

I use woolwax. Bought the kit with the spray gun for the compressor and it takes like 10 minutes

 

That’s been my plan for like 3 years now but I keep driving by a Krown place every August so

 

This is what I bought like 2 years ago and I still have some left after doing 4 vehicles a year.
