I think I need to get regeared since I hardly ever use my top gear around here. It sure would be nice to get better mileage on the flats of 94 between the TC and NoDak. I searched this thread and it sounds like most are using 4WP, Zeus, or just DIY with ECGS gears. I'm leaning towards 4.88s from 4WP but am looking for local opinions. Thanks for any help! RJ

I made the mistake of wearing flip flops to work today. I can't feel my toes. It needs to get to 80 faster.

ha I can't handle this up and down nonsense. Rest of the week is going to be full on Nov weather. It seems like we skip Sept and Oct every year now...

Most don't know but because of the way the jet stream moves over MN we get the most bipolar weather now dude to climate change. We are in the worst area where we are going to continue to see hotter summers and colder, dryer winters. I have noticed the last couple years we are seeming to have a season shift. Winter doesn't always come in November anymore and spring is pushing back to past April. This state is beautiful but I don't know I can handle it forever.

I've heard it'll get colder here as the planet heats up. Didn't know the summer would be hotter too.

Yeah the jet stream is dipping lower in the winter now and higher in the summer. We are going to be getting a lot more southern winds from as this goes on.

Iirc, per the modeling our summer will get a bit warmer and wetter. Our winters will become milder/warmer overall with shorter dips down into the arctic blasts. Our weather events year around will become stronger, but shorter in duration. One of my climatology profs had a fun prediction tool that would map predictions based on application of the various climate models and changes. Wish I could remember it.

For what it’s worth, Duluth will be the most stable to where things are today over the next 50yrs, so get your land buys in early!

That’s what I heard too! Duluth is going to be the least affected in the whole continent. Now with work from home I bet it accelerates the growth there. And that’s a good thing. They need it and I need an excuse to go north and be closer to Lutsen during ski season

I figured it was the southern area. That park is super cool, I love that you get to drive threw the creek going to the camp sites. The driftless area is something special.

We were camping at Frontenac State Park this weekend. New shower building, also cleanest new outhouses I have ever seen. Best fall weekend ever. I agree with all of the above photos. Driftless area both sides of the river is God's country, also my favorite go-to on a motorcycle.
