Go home Chevy! But really, you should see how good it does before you link it.

    I think I need more.

A quick measure when I got home was 22" in the front. Chris said he measured 3", but I'm measuring a weak 2" (over stock). With those 883 coils I was at 21.25" - so I gained 3/4". I'll do a more thorough measure in a couple days.

Rear measured at 23", so that's an inch over what I started with. And those leaf springs are only going to go down. Shackle flip time?? That said - it was immediately noticeable when I drove it, and the extra lift looks great. The Bilsteins feel really smooth. Smoother than the old Nitrochargers.

My alignment was lol all the way home though. Steering was all over the place. I won't drive it tomorrow and just wait for the alignment on Monday morning.

You guys are awesome. Lets go beat on our trucks sometime.

Dodge! I don't think I have enough weight in the back to get the 1 ton leaf springs to collapse.

Lol, that was supposed to be a joke of a joke, cause of the whole rivalry thing.

You could find a load of bricks back outside of Menard's if you need some help flexing.

I'd be lucky if it even starts now a days while it's so cold. I just leave it in my garage.

After the alignment the truck drives so much better now. Samaritan Tire was able to nail the numbers I wanted. Caster is at 3.0 and everything else pretty much zeroed out. I still think it rides great. I do notice the lack of a sway bar, but so far it isn't bad at all. Although I haven't really driven it too much yet.

    Remeasured everything this morning.

Front is at 22" exactly on both sides. That's with a half-tank of gas and 1/4" driver-side spacer. Was expecting a bit more, but happy with it. Stock is, what, 20"? So about a 2" lift with setting #3.

Rear is at 23 1/4" both sides. I'll know more after a couple months - once it starts warming up and I can load the bed with all my gear. If the new AAL takes the load well and it doesn't settle too much, I'll be happy with where it's at.

No good pictures yet. Too damn cold.

Me too, at the same setting.
I put the ECGS bushing in. Seemed to clear it up… but the domino effect is at play. At the same time I added some Bora 3/4" wheel spacers which exploited a wheel bearing on its way out. New vibes now. Fun times. Do I order one wheel bearing assembly or just do both at the same time? Only $175 a piece(sarcasm font)! But I wanted to get sliders now!

I have the tool to extract the needle bearing available for loan if you want to save $$$.

I've only met Chris once and he spent 6 hours working on my suspension. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about handing my truck over to a stranger, but from here on out I will absolutely vouch for him. The guy knows what he is doing and is very generous with his time. Just trying to build up the MN Tacoma community....

Wildfyr3 helped out a lot too that day. For someone with almost zero mechanical knowledge, I learned a lot.

I ordered the bushing and I'm assuming it'll arrive in a week or two'ish. Maybe have the mod day in 3-4 weeks....??

I'm pretty sure Toyota has a new bushing available to fix the problem if your truck is under warranty or maybe even a tsb now? Might be free instead of the ecgs option

I think it might even be like an as needed service bulletin.

You're right, there's a TSB now for the needle bearing. There's even an entire thread for it. And I'm pretty sure I'm still under warranty. I believe this TSB falls under the 5 year warranty.

But it seems to have mixed results - while the ECGS bearing appears to be flawless. Besides, mod days are more fun than sitting in a dealership waiting room.

Right on...I would just rather have Toyota pay for shit they should have done right from the get go. I hadn't heard there was mixed results on the Toyota version.

On a side note...I switched up plans for my lift so I have a few items for sale brand new. Icon progressive add a leaf, Firestone ride rite air bags, and Daystar cradles. Because they are new I'd want to get close to new price. I'd say if you're interested, find the best price online and I will beat it. Will post on the for sale page and craigslist in a week or two.
